Der Dreifaltigkeitssonntag ist der erste Sonntag nach Pfingsten. Seit dem
14. Jahrhundert ist er als kirchliches Fest vorgeschrieben, 1911 erhielt er die
kirchenrechtliche Stellung als "Duplex I. Klasse".
